A week spent hiking deep in the Swedish Arctic, on the Kungsleden (King's Trail) between Kvikkjokk and Saltoluokta. Autumn sees the entire landscape turn golden-orange, as the lands prepares for the long, cold winter ahead. A detour to Skierfe, reveals what is often called Sweden's greatest view: a panoramic scene of the Rapa Delta, carrying stunning waters from the hundreds of glaciers of Sarek National Park - Europe's last true wilderness. In the valleys, the golden birches dance in the Northern winds, higher up - the bare fjells are reminders of a glacial past.
